Call for papers and posters 2010 New Zealand Petroleum Conference
Crown Minerals welcomes abstracts for the 2010 New Zealand Petroleum Conference to be held in September 2010 at SkyCity Convention Centre, Auckland, New Zealand.

At the 2010 conference, renowned speakers from Government and industry will provide insight into the significant multi-dimensional transformation benefits that are possible from the development of New Zealand’s oil and gas resources.
Sought after topics for the 2010 conference include (but are not limited to):
- Global perspective - New Zealand’s place in the petroleum world;
- Sector Participation/Investment - What should New Zealand do to maximise participation/investment;
- New Frontiers - Unlocking the potential of Reinga, Northland, Raukumara;

Submitted Abstracts
Abstracts for papers or posters of no more than 500 words on an issue related to the conference themes, report the results of completed research or describe research in progress.
The deadline for submission is 29 March 2010.
Authors will be notified of acceptance on 3 May 2010.
Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register for the conference. Paper presenters will be given 20 minutes to present their papers with 5 minutes for questions. Papers will be produced on CD and published on the Conference web site.
Poster Session
Posters may use graphics, tables, or charts, but must not exceed the space of 594x841 mm. Lap top computers and visual display devices may be used if the presenter provides them. Interactive poster sessions will be scheduled during the conference. Each poster presentation should last about ten minutes including time for questions from your audience.
Selection Criteria
The Programme Committee will evaluate the content of abstracts for relevance to the conference themes, clarity, originality, and timeliness.
